Barbara Miller, a highly respected lady, wife of Anton Miller, of DeWitt, died 
at the residence of her son-in-law, Mr. F. Kook, of DeWitt, on Saturday last, 
aged 69 years. She came with her husband to Iowa in 1849. She leaves three 
children-Mrs. Christiansen and Mrs. Kook, of DeWitt,  and John A. Miller, of 
New Mexico, besides an aged husband to mourn her loss. She was buried in 
Elmwood Cemetery, Rev. Mr. Taintor preaching the funeral sermon.
