CABOT, Ark. - Eric Matthew Schmidt, 18, of Cabot, died May 20 in Conway, Ark.

Visitation was Monday at Moore's Funeral Home, Cabot. Funeral services were
Tuesday at Our Saviour Lutheran Church, Cabot, with the Rev. Mark Eisold
officiating.

He was born Aug. 25, 1986, in Clinton to Michael and Karen Reckman Schmidt.

He attended Clinton and Cabot schools.

He was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Jacksonville, Ark.

Survivors include his parents, Michael and Karen Schmidt of Cabot; one sister,
Mrs. Jaime (Don) Humes of Princeton, Iowa; one brother, Evan Schmidt of Cabot;
his grandparents, Fred and Beverly Reckman of Clinton; one great-grandmother,
Luetta Piek of Wisconsin Rapids, Wis.; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
