TUBBS The community was startled Tuesday morning by news of the death of Willard L. Tubbs, a man 63 years of age, who had worked for Ed Henck the past year. He retired in his usual health, and failing to respond for the morning call it was found he had passed away without a struggle. It was deemed unnecessay to hold an inquest as the evident cause of his death was heart trouble. He has two brothers, George and Myron in Maquoketa, a brother in Correctionville, and a sister elsewhere in the state, also a nephew in Elwood. Funeral services were held Wednesday and interment was in the cemetery at Union Cemetery, south of Maquoketa.
