Lena Aronson

	Lena Fieda Aronson, the daughter of Fred and Anna B. Ackelbein 
Bockelmann, was born on November 23, 1900 on a farm near Ute in Crawford 
County, Iowa.  She died on December 13, 1988 at the Denison Care Center in 
Denison, Iowa at the age of 88 years.
	On December 26, 1918, Lena and Fred Aronson of Charter Oak, Iowa were 
united in marriage at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Charter Oak.  This union 
was blessed with two children.  Fred died on June 15, 1963 	
	Preceding Lena in death were:  Her husband, Fred, her parents; one 
grandchild; one brother and two sisters.
	Survivors include her daughter of Grand Island, Nebraska and her son 
and his wife of Charter Oak, Iowa.  Also surviving are five grandchildren; 12 
great-grandchildren and one sister, Laurena Hinrichsen of Timnath, Colorado.
