	Lena F. Aronson, the daughter of Fred and Anna B. Ackelbein 
Bockelmann, was born on November 23, 1900 on a farm near Ute in Crawford 
County, Iowa.  She died on December 13, 1988  in Denison, Iowa.
	 On December 26, 1918, Lena and Fred Aronson of Charter Oak, Iowa were 
united in marriage at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Charter Oak.   Fred died 
on Jun3 15, 1963.	
	Preceding Lena in death were her husband, Fred, her parents; one 
grandchild; one brother and two sisters.
	Survivors include her daughter, LaVaun and her husband, Elmer Kroll of 
Grand Island, Nebraska and her son, Murlyn Aronson and his wife, LaBae of 
Charter Oak, Iowa.  Also surviving are five grandchildren; 12 great-
grandchildren and one sister, Laurena Hinrichsen of Timnath, Colorado.
