William E. Friedrichs                      (From the collection of Vivian 
Norby Andersen)

	William E. Friedrichs was born on November 4, 1897 in Vanhof, Germany, 
the son of Henry and Minnie Wunder Friedrichs.  He died on Saturday evening, 
April 10, 1982 at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa.
		On December 6, 1922, William was united in marriage to Erna 
Kutschinski at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Charter Oak.  	In addition to 
his parents, William was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.
	Survivors include his wife, Erna of Charter Oak; one son of Charter 
Oak; and three daughters.  Also surviving are eleven grandchildren, three 
great-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Alma Bartling of Mesa, Arizona.
