MOTHER OF MRS. 		April 18, 1961 indicated
ROY SWAIN DIES              (From the collection of Vivian Norby Andersen)

	Mrs. F. E. Hamlin of Denison, about 78, mother of Mrs. Roy Swain of 
Soldier, passed away Friday after an illness the past several years.  Funeral 
services were held Tuesday at the Presbyterian church in Denison, with the 
Rev. Robert D. Caldwell of Denison and Rev. C. A. Hyde of Peterson, Iowa 
officiating.  Burial was in Oakland cemetery in Denison.
	She leaves fives children, 16 grandchildren and three great 
grandchildren.
	Her husband, who also survives, is a former pastor at Denison.
	The Sentinel received the complete obituary too late for publication.
