Mrs.  Rose Catherine Hanigan passed away  at her home in Council Bluffs, Iowa, 
on Saturday, June 16, 1928.

Rose Catherine Schmitt was born at Solon, Iowa on March 27, 1864, the daughter 
of Michael Schmitt.

On August 15, 1886, she was united in marriage to John T. Hanigan of Dunlap. 
He passed away November 27, 1922.

She is survived by her children:   Thomas M. Hanigan and Mrs Loyola Wettengel 
at Dunlap; Bess, Jeanette and Agnes in Council Bluffs, ; Mrs Eva Fox of 
Winner, S.D., and George and Carlisle Hanigan of Spalding, Nebraska.  Also 
surviving are  eighteen grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs Mary Fackelman and Mrs 
Anna Hunter, and one brother, John Schmitt, all of Dunlap.
