	Gladys L. King, age 94, of Dunlap, formerly of Charter Oak, died 
Sunday, October 27, 1996, at the Community Memorial Hospital in Missouri 
Valley, Iowa.
	
	Gladys Leona King was born August 17, 1902, on a farm in Harrison 
Township, near Dunlap, Iowa, the daughter of George Albert and Ella Elizabeth 
(Elvert) Rosenbaugh.  October 23, 1923 she was united in marriage to Irvin 
King at the Broadway Methodist Church in Council Bluffs, Iowa.  
	Irvin died February 1, 1956 
	
	She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Ronald in infancy, 
and Donald, one daughter, Ruth Lynch, one grandchild, one great grandchild, 
three sisters, Mable Lyman, Velma Butler, and Nellie Davis, and two brothers, 
George and Melvin Rosenbaugh.
	Survivors include one daughter, Dorothy Marie Swenson and her husband, 
Clifford of Moorhead, Iowa, one daughter-in-law, Jean (King) Lyons of 
Knoxville, Iowa, nine grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren, and six 
great great grandchildren.
