     Elmer Carl Kutschinski was born June 13, 1910, north of Charter Oak, IA, 
the son of Carl and Louise Jahn Kutschinski. He died on February 17, 2003  
    On December 8, 1939 Elmer married Thelma Goodall of Mapleton, Iowa at St. 
John's Lutheran Church. 
      He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Thelma; one son, 
Gail; two brothers, Ernest and Arthur Kutschinski; and two sisters, Erna 
Friedrichs and Olinda Schultz. 
     Survivors include three daughters; five grandchildren; one great-
grandson; one brother, Alvin Kutschinski and his wife, Dorothy, one sister and 
her husband, all of Charter Oak, Iowa.
