Chris A. Neddermeyer, age 65 of Mapleton passed away  Friday, February 22, 
2002.

Chris Adolph Neddermeyer was born May 5, 1936 in Charter Oak, Iowa, to Chris 
and Lena (Sievers) Neddermeyer. On December 18, 1965, Chris was united in 
marriage to Verdean Waderich.

Those remaining to cherish his memory are his children, Crystal Bretthauer, 
Ross Neddermeyer and his wife, Jane, and Amanda Plautz and her husband, Brian; 
eight grandchildren; his mother-in-law, Ruby Waderich; and four sisters, 
Vernet Larson, Lois Butler, Norma Hawley and Nancy Burgdorf.

Chris was preceded in death by his wife, Verdean, his parents, three 
grandchildren, and his sister, Marlene.
