Martin Carl Schnoor passed away on June 4, 2001, at the Denison Care Center, 
at the age of 81 years. 

Martin Carl "Snorky" Schnoor was born December 28, 1919, the son of Ferdinand 
and Ida Bramstedt Schnoor.  On January 20, 1946 Martin and Hedwig Schmieder 
were united in marriage at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Ute.

Preceding him in death were his father, Ferdinand; his mother, Ida; two 
children, Linda and Myron; and one sister, Leona. 

Surviving are his wife, Hedwig of Ricketts; his son, Douglas and his wife, 
Mariann of Dow City; two daughters, Theresa and her husband, John Howrey of 
Minot, North Dakota and Debra Preftakes of Ankeny, Iowa. Also surviving are 
six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Also one sister, Elsie 
Schnoor of Charter Oak and one brother, Fred Schnoor and his wife, Fern of 
Mapleton; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
