    Rose M. Schultz was born July 23, 1904, the daughter of Herman and Minnie 
Hagge Hinricksen. She died at Eventide Nursing Home in Denison, Iowa, Friday, 
January 31, 2003, at the age of ninety-eight. 
Rose was born in Monona County, 
     On February 15, 1928, Rose was united in marriage to August Schultz at 
St. John's Lutheran Church, Charter Oak, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, August, two infant sons, 
Robert and Richard, son-in-law, Leonard Voss, two sisters, Evelyn Bielow and 
Leona Baak, five brothers, Elmer, Herbert, Walter, Leslie and Carl. Survivors 
include one son, James Schultz and his wife, Jean of Charter Oak; two 
daughters, Lois Voss of Walker, Iowa, and Karen Weiss and her husband, Byron 
of Dunlap; 14 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, and 
5 great-great-grandchildren; one brother-in-law, Vernon Bielow of Charter Oak, 
one sister-in-law, Elsie Larson of Mapleton, several nieces, nephews and 
friends.
