	Vernon Edward Wright was born March 8, 1904 to Lewis Edward and Clara 
Belle (Smith) Wright in Boyer Township, Crawford County, Iowa.  He died 
January 3, 1982, in Crawford County, Memorial Hospital.
	
	On December 24, 1926, he was married to Thelma Corey and to this union 
eight children were born, three daughters and five sons. 
	Preceding him in death were his parents, two sisters, a grandson, an 
infant daughter and two infant grandsons.
	Survivors include his wife, Thelma of Dunlap and his children.  
Thirteen grandchildren survive; one brother, Ejner of Dow City; and a number 
of nieces and nephews.
