Minnie Young                        (From the collection of Vivian Norby 
Andersen)

	Hermine (Minnie) Young was born on January 27, 1891, in Hamburg, 
Germany, the daughter of Andreas and Wilhelmina Neumann Hadenfeld.  She died 
on Thursday morning, March 27, 1986, at the Crawford County Memorial Hospital 
in Denison, Iowa.
		In addition to her parents, Minnie was preceded in death by 
two brothers, Henry and Eric Hadenfeld, and one sister, Margaret Buchanan.
	Survivors include five daughters  and one son, Archie Mahoney of Ute, 
Iowa.  She is further survived by nineteen grandchildren, twenty-nine great-
grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, one brother, Andreas Hadenfeld 
of Fort Collins, Colorado, and three sisters, Mrs. Elsa Berndt, Mrs. Christine 
Wittmack, and Mrs. Anna Lochmiller, all of Denison, Iowa, as well as a host of 
other relatives and friends.
