The guests spent the afternoon in hemming towels for the bride-to-be, after which a two course luncheon was served by the hostess. - - - Wednesday, September 21, 1921 McCarty Weds Francis Graney The marriage of Miss Cora McCarty, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. McCarty and Mr. Francis Graney, son of Mr. and Mrs. Cornelius Graney took place this morning at St. Patrick's Catholic church The nuptial Mass was performed at seven-thirty o'clock by Rev. James Cleary. The bridal party entered the church to the strains of Mendelssohn's wedding march, which was played by Mrs. Martha Spaulding. ___ng the ceremony. Mrs. Frank ___en sang "Oh, Promise Me" and __sand "I Love You Truly" during the offertory Miss Mabel Graney, cousin of the groom, was bridesmaid, and John McCarty, brother of the bride, served as groomsman. Cornelia Graney, little sister of the groom, was ring bearer. She carried a small basket of roses upon which a lily containing the ring ___sed.
