Located in the southwestern part of Decatur county, on the M.A. div. C.B. & Q.R.R., and on Thompson's Fork of Grand river, a water-power stream. It is 45 miles southwest of Charlton, 27 ? of Mount Ayr, and 65 in an air line from Des Moines. Shipments, railroad ties, wood, stone, brick and sand.
