His remains were brought home for interment by his father, N. McCormack, Esq., of Delhi, Delaware County, Iowa, and were followed to the grave by a large concourse of people. He was regarded by his officers as a brave boy and trusty soldier. He was buried with military honors, and many of his late comrades now discharged bore him to his last resting place.
