Wasser Chapel Memorial Card
Mrs. Mabel Walker Edel

   A memorial service for Mrs. Mabel Walker Edel, 90, a Burlington native who 
died Oct. 18 at her residence at 4800 E. Dartmouth Ave., Denver, Colo., was 
held Saturday, Nov. 3, at University Park United Methodist Church of Denver.
   She willed her body to the research department of the Univ. of Col. Medical 
college.  A memorial to the pipe organ fund of Univ. Park Church has been 
established.
   The daughter of Frank and Adeline Walker, she was born Nov. 15, 1888.  She 
married Edward F. Edel Aug. 15, 1916; they lived in DeKalb, Ill., for 43 years, 
moving to Denver in 1959.
   Surviving: The husband; son, Edward F. Jr., Los Angeles; daughter Adeline 
Diehl, Denver; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
