Like her husband Mrs. Karrick has left a large number of relatives in this city and vicinity, who will be sorely grieved at the sad intelligence of her decease. Mrs. Karrick was a strict member of the Methodist Episcopal church and died in the faith and the doctrines of that church. She was about 52 years old. Mrs. Karrick was the daughter of Doctor Crockwell, who many years since resided in this city and died at Potosi, Wisconsin, where he had lived for several years and practiced his profession. Mrs. Karrick leaves an only son, Lewis Cass Karrick, with whom she lived at Salt Lake City until within a short time before her decease. She was the sister of Mrs. R. Cheney and L.L. Wood*, of this city, and of Mr. C.L.D. Crockwell, of Council Bluffs, who are stricken with grief at the loss of their dearly beloved sister. Additional Comments: There is some question as to her last name. Info not verified says she was a ward of Dr. Crockwell and her last name was Madiera File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/ia/dubuque/obits/c/crockwel230nob.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.net/iafiles/ File size: 1.8 Kb
