Grandview Ave. will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Columbkille's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Resurrection Garden Mausoleum at Mount Calvary Cemetery, where military rites will be accorded by the American Legion Post 6 of Dubuque. Friends may call until 9 p.m. today at Ed Siegert-Al Didesch Colonial Funeral Home, 390 N. Grandview Ave., where the wake service will be said at 6 p.m. Mr. Miller worked at John Deere Dubuque Works for 27 years before his retirement in 1975. He was born on Jan. 6, 1913, in Moran, Ind., son of Westlake and Dora Jean (Cripe) Miller. He died at 12:03 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, 1990 at The Finley Hospital. He married Melinda Messerich on July 21, 1941 at Springbrook, Iowa; she survives. He was a World War II Army veteran, a member of the United Auto Workers Local 94 and a charter member of the Fishing Hall of Fame. Also surviving are two daughters, Maj Judy Miller of Spokane, Wash., and Mrs. Daniel (Marie) Pusateri of St. Catherine, Iowa; two sons, Gene W. and Gerald F.; both of Dubuque; and six grandchildren.
