The Hampton Chronicle, 3/8/1979
Mrs. Butenhoff died Tuesday at the Hampton Care Center. She was born 7/3/1902 
at Latimer to Mr. & Mrs. Louis Schloemer. She married Fred Butenhoff 
12/20/1920 at Latimer. They farmed in Franklin County and retired to Hampton 
in 1968. Mr. Butenhoff died in 1979.
Suvivors include 1 son, Orval, of Clear Lake, 1 daughter, Mrs. Clarence 
(Helen) Fielding, Hampton, 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren & 1 great 
great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 
sisters, 3 brothers and a half-sister.
Burial was in Hampton Cemetery.
