She married William Korth in 1864 and came to America in 1867 going to WI. After 7 years they came to Iowa and took a homestead in Morgan township where she lived until 5 years before her death when she moved to Dows. They had 10 children, 8 of whom are still living. One died on the ocean voyage to America and a daughter, Mrs. G. H. Butenhoff died 7 weeks ago.Survivors include Frank, Albert, Theodore, Otto, Walter, Mrs. H. W. Lemke and misses Sarah and Amanda. There are also 3 half brothers; Aug. Butenhoff of Baker, MN, and August and Albert Wilke of Fond du Lac, WI. Burial was in Morgan Cemetery, east of Dows.
