Wright County Reporter, Thurs., 11/21/1929
Lydia passed away 11/18/1929 at the home of Mrs. Floyd Thorp, her daughter. 
She was born 1/6/1881 in St. Louis, MO. She married Otto Korth 1/31/1901 and 
they started farming in Morgan township, which has been their home ever since. 
They had 10 children; Gail Riis, of Dows; Esther Hemingway of Seattle, WA; 
Leona Tollakson of Argyle, WI; Della Thorpe, Glen, Lloyd, Myrtle, Vernie and 
Darrold Korth of Dows, her daughter, Mildred, died 9/26/1914. Besides her 
husband & children, survivors include 3 grandchildren, Wanda & Duane Hemingway 
of Seattle, WA, Veryl Tollakson of Argyle, WI, her mother, Minnie Horn of 
Dows;1 sister, Amelia Harms of Dows, 4 brothers, Ernest & Henry Graepler of 
Dows, William Graepler of Ft. Dodge, Charles F. Graepler of Los Angeles, CA.
Burial was in Morgan Cemetery east of Dows.
