Mrs. Korth died suddenly at age 77, at the Lutheran Hospital at Hampton. She 
had been in failing health for several years. Mathilda, the daughter of Mr. & 
Mrs. Buge was born 12/31/1875. On 5/4/1898 she married Albert Korth who 
preceded her in death 1/20/1943. They established their home on the farm which 
is still the Korth home. (Morgan township) They had 5 sons & 1 daughter.
Survivors include her daughter, Miss Elsie Korth, at home, and 5 sons, Earl 
Korth, Ervin Korth, Floyd Korth and Leslie Korth of this community & Clarence 
Korth of Van Dyne, WI. Also 5 grandchildren & 5 great grandchildren. Mrs. 
Korth was 1 of 10 children of whom 2 are living. Mrs. Ida Busch of Salem, IL & 
Mrs. Lizzie McAllister of Dows.
Burial was in Morgan Cemetery east of Dows.
