Short services were held at the Mansfield Funeral Home. Interrment in the Hamburg cemetery. Verna Fisher lived in Hamburg for many years, her parents, Cyrus and Martha Fisher, operating the Julien Hotel. The family moved to Arkansas City some twenty five years ago. While a resident in Hamburg, Miss Fisher was active in the church life and social life of the community and was an active member of the Military Girls organization which was so helpful in World War I. The body was accompanied to Hamburg by her sister Mrs. L. H. Carder, Mrs. Hal Carder, and Mrs. Sadie Fisher.
