The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. http://www.usgwarchives.net ******************************************************** The Evening Sentinel, Shenandoah, IA Tuesday December 27, 1927 Mrs. Guy Allen Dies Husband and Three Small Children Survive Farragut Woman Funeral services for Mrs. Guy Allen who died in this city at the Hand hospital Friday were held at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon at the Methodist church at Farragut conducted by Rev. W. O. Harding. Music was furnished by a male quartet. Interment was in the Farragut cemetery. Mrs. Allen had been poorly for some time but was only in the hospital a few days at the time of her death. She is survived by husband and three small children, her parents Mr. and Mrs. John Livingston and one brother Loren of Farragut. Members of the quartet were Seth Cox, Fred Long, George Carter and Clarence Campbell. The pallbearers were Leslie and Gaylen Allen, Raymond and George Derrickson, Byron Lightfoot and Billy Kleckner. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
