McKinney, aged 33 years, 9 months, and 29 days. Mr. McKinney was born in Hamilton county, January 22, 1861, and resided at home with his parents until 1880, when he entered the Law Department of Drake University from which he graduated in 1884 with class honors. He located in Stratford the same summer and has since practiced his chosen profession. He was married to Miss Quincie Smith July 14, 1892, who is left to mourn hiss loss, together with an aged mother, one brother and four sisters and a host of friends. Mr. McKinney was elected recorder In 1887, and served in that capacity until 1892, when he was elected as a member of this Town Council, which position he held at the time of his death. He has been faithful to every position of trust committed to his care. In his life among us we have found him to be a good citizen, ever ready to defend his conscientious convictions He was of strong and determined will which fitted him for the battles of life. By his death we loose a worthy citizen. The funeral services took place at the M. E. Church under the management of W. T. Sherman Lodge Knights of Pythias. Rev.
