The funeral will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church at 9 a.m. Wednesday. The Rosary will be recited at Wagner’s at 7:30 Tuesday evening. At the time of his death the young man was employed as a metal fitter in an aircraft plant in California. Woodrow Edward Tyrrell was born at Britt, (IA) January 12, 1920, the son of Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Tyrrell. The family moved here when he was a year old and he continued to live in Marshalltown until going to California a year ago. He was graduated from St. Mary’s High School in 1938 and attended Marshalltown Junior College the following year. Surviving are two brothers, William and David Tyrrell of Los Angeles, a sister, Rose, and his grandmother, Mrs. Kate Turner of Los Angeles.
