Died at Camp Pierpont, of typhoid fever, November 27th, 1861, Mr. Samuel Houlsworth,
only son of Samuel H. Houlsworth, of Iowa; Ringgold Cavalry, Company F., First
Regiment Penna. Reserves. His remains were sent to New Providence church yard and
placed next to his mother…
