He owns a well improved farm of 650 acres. He makes a specialty of raising fine stock. He has some very fine horses and one thorough-bred stallion which was imported from France at a cost of $2,500. In fact we may say that Mr. Williams has one of the finest stock farms in Western Iowa. He was married in 1849 to Sarah Anderson, of Noble county, Ind. They have three sons and five daughters.
