Monday's Obituaries




Gertrude E. Alexander, 82, of Modale died March 9 at Community Memorial 
Hospital in Missouri Valley. 

She was born June 14, 1920, in Harrison County to Albert E. and Jean (Larison) 
Erixon. 

Mrs. Alexander and her husband, Joe, were married Nov. 9, 1937, in Red Oak.
Survivors in addition to her husband include daughters, Leone Herman and 
husband, Jim, of Modale, Ginger Alexander of Modale; sister, Frances Parks, of 
Onawa; brother, Louis Erixon, of Onawa; six grandchildren; 11 great-
grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews and many 
friends.
