 Bernese F. Barnum, 95, of Woodbine died Nov. 30.

She was born in Woodbine Aug. 13, 1907, to Lawrence and Emma (Lewis) 
Schneider.  
She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd, in 1965.  They were married 
August 1925.

Survivors include two daughters, Twyla Hein and husband Floyd, of Dunlap and 
Lyro Knights and husband, Gordon, of Harlan; four sisters, Vivian Reis of 
Denison, Bessie Reis of Hot Springs, S.D., Angie Purcell of Woodbine and Wanda 
Carrier and husband, Jerry, of Odebolt; six grandchildren and nine great-
grandchildren.
