	Kenneth Earl Carritt, 73, of Little Sioux, Iowa, died August 9, 1996, 
at Burgess Memorial Hospital in Onawa.
	Kenneth Earl Carritt was born September 27, 1922, the son of Thomas 
and Martha (Nelson) Carritt.   While in the Navy he met and married his wife, 
Margaret Adams of 52 years.  
	
	He is survived by his wife, Marge; sons John and wife, Sandra, Danny, 
Mike and wife, Helen, and Marty and wife Carla, all of Little Sioux, Iowa; 
daughters Mary Hamer and husband Tim of Chariton, Iowa, and Janene Steckelberg 
and husband Tim of Mondamin, Iowa; daughter-in-law, Rhonda and husband, Kevin 
Johnson of Moorhead, Iowa, eighteen grandchildren, two great grandchildren and 
one brother, Harold and wife, Arlene Carritt of Fremont, NE.
	He was preceded in death by his son, Terry; his parents; four sisters, 
Blanche, Mariam, Wilma, and Ruth; and two brothers, Joe and Tommy.
