 Laura E. Holsapple, 91, of Moorhead died Friday, Dec. 13, 2002, at Onawa, 
Iowa.

Laura E. Holsapple was born July 28, 1911, in Blencoe, Iowa, the daughter of 
Harry G. and Luane E. (Boutwell) McLaughlin.   On May 28, 1928, she was united 
in marriage to Orley “Swede” Holsapple.  Their son, Roy Allen, was born on 
Dec. 26, 1929, and died on Dec. 27, 1929.   Orley passed away on Sept. 15, 
1985.


Survivors include many nieces and nephews and their families.

In addition to her parents, her husband and a son, Laura was preceded in death 
by a sister, Fern Bryan; three brothers, Gifford, Russell and Floyd; a nephew, 
William McLaughlin; and two nieces, Thelma “Happy” McLaughlin and Darlene 
Bryan Shatswell.
