OBITUARY OF 
BESSIE McDOLE			(From the collection of Vivian Norby Andersen)

	Bessie May Gorham, daughter of Frank and Flora Gorham, was born 
December 19, 1886 on a farm near Dunlap, Iowa and died at the Crawford County 
Memorial Hospital in Denison, November 29, 1969.
	She was united in marriage to Asa McDole January 1, 1909.  
	She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one son, 
Warren.  She is survived by five children:  Wilton McDole of Dunlap, Marilla 
Wingate of Soldier, Ruth Renz of Woodbine, Laura Lawson of Urbandale, and 
Margaret Reimer of Atlantic; thirteen grandchildren and two great 
grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Grace Pratt; two brothers, Dwight and George 
Gorham, all of Dunlap, and many relatives and friends.
