Nellie J. Smith                       (From the collection of  Vivian Norby

	Nellie Jane Smith was born in Harrison County, Iowa on July 12,1898, 
and died at the Missouri Valley, Iowa hospital on September 30, 1984.  She was 
the fourth child of eight children of Laura Elizabeth Long and Uriah W. 
Bolton.  In 1919, she was united in marriage to George E. Rosenbaugh.  To this 
union, two sons, George G. and Paul H. were born.  Her sons preceded her in 
death as did her husband.  Then she married Orville J. Smith and they had one 
daughter,who survives.
	She is survived by two daughters-in-law, Virginia Rosenbaugh of 
Cortez, Colo., and Elizabeth Rosenbaugh of Aztec, N.M., sisters-in-law that 
survive are:  Gladys King, Dunlap, Velma Butler, Charter Oak, Hannah 
Rosenbaugh, Omaha and Gretchen Bolton of Logan, and a brother-in-law, Dr. W. 
D. Crozier of Socorro, N.M., also eighteen grandchildren and eighteen great 
grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and friends.
