Bond. Mary E. Cammack was born Aug. 20, 1856, married April 9, 1885. She was born, raised and married in Henry county, Iowa. She moved with her family to Montana in the year 1891. In 1892 she moved with her family to Elsworth county, Kansas, and with the opening of the strip came and settled with her companion and children in this county. Died June 4, 1905 at the home of her sister Mrs. C.G. Knight, where she had gone to take treatment. Thus ceases to our vision and personal contact one of our most highly esteemed and universally loved mother and wife. While we are apt to look on death as a departure never to return, yet they are ever present by the loving deeds and kindly offices performed while among us, and the great consolation comes to those that remain to mourn the departure of the loved one, that it is only a brief separation, having provided the dear ones that remain, who can look forward with greater joy to the reunion of those who have served God and loved the Christ like life so sweetly exemplified. "For where thy treasure is there is thy heart also." Mother! How sweet the name! We cannot recall her to us but oh, the joy of going to her, who has lived a life that enables us to surmount great obstackles that we may live to respect and revere her high ideals and precepts. ====================================================================== USGENWEB NOTICE: In keeping with our policy of providing free information on the Internet, data may be used by non-commercial entities, as long as this message remains on all copied material.
