Second- I desire that my wife Charlotte Ames shall have the use and control of all my property both personal and real during her widowhood. Third- My two daughters Florence Rozelle and Edna Botts have both received their just share of my estate. Fourth- To my son Verner Ames all my estate personal and real that shall be remaining after the decease of myself and wife provided he shall be living at that but in case of his death previous to the death of myself or my wife said Charlotte Ames or the survivor of us then one third of said estate I give to Hattie Ames wife of Verner Ames and the remaining two thirds to my daughter Edna Botts. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this the 27th day of March 1895. His Mosier X Ames Mark The above instrument consisting of one sheet of paper was as the date thereof signed and declared by the said Mosier Ames as for his last will and testament in presence of us who at his request and in his presence have subscribed our names as witnesses thereof. Miller, Clerk of the District Court of said County do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument purporting to be the last Will and Testament f Mosier Ames page 34 deceased, was duly proven before the District Court of Henry County, aforesaid, at it's regular term, A. D. 1900, and by said Court this day allowed and admitted to record and established and declared to be the last Will and Testament of Mosier Ames deceased and ordered to be certified and recorded as such last Will and Testament. Witness my hand and seal of said Court, affixed at Mt. Pleasant, Iowa this 20th day of February 1900 A. W. Miller Clerk of District Court by Ella Spray Deputy Proof of Will State of Iowa} Henry County } In the District Court Feb Term 1900 To Whom It May Concern:- Notice is hereby given that an instrument in writing purporting to be the last Will and Testament of Mosier Ames, late of said County, deceased, was brought into the office of the Clerk of the District Court and publicly read as such last Will and |Testament. And the same being filed, the Clerk fixed 10 o'clock a.m. of the 13th day of February 1900, such being the 2nd day of the regular February Term 1900, thereof as the time for hear of proof before said Court of the genuineness of such Will.
