Ames deceased In the name of God Amen I Charlotte Ames of the town of Olds in the County of Henry and the State of Iowa of the age of sixty seven years and being of Sound mind and memory do make, publish and declare this my last will and testament in manner following that is to say: First- To my son Verner R. Ames I give one half of all my estate remaining after all my debts are paid. Second- The other half of my estate to be divided equally between my two daughters Florence N. Roselle and Edna M. Botts In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this the twenty fifth day of October 1900 Charlotte A. Ames The above instrument consisting of one sheet of paper was at the date thereof signed and declared by the said Charlotte Ames as and for her last will and testament in presence of who at her request & in her presence have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto: Austin Waterman Almira P Waterman State of Iowa, Henry County-ss I, Edd De Garmes?, Clerk of the District Court of said County, do hereby certify that the foregoing instrument purporting to be the last Will and Testament of Charlotte A. Ames deceased was duly proven before the District Court of Henry County, aforesaid, at its regular February Term, A. D. 1907, and by said Court this day allowed and admitted to record and established and declared to be the last Will and Testament of Charlotte A.
