	BATTLE CREEK, Iowa – Murl Brown, 89, of Battle Creek died Wednesday, 
Jan. 27, 1999, at Horn Memorial Hospital in Ida Grove, Iowa.
		Mr. Brown was born Oct. 6, 1909, near Emmett, Neb., the son of 
Matt and Nellie (Manson) Brown.  	He married Lenora Lehmann on April 25, 
1935, in Merrill.  	
	He was preceded in death by an infant son, Daryl; and an infant 
daughter, Carol.
