For Deur Erickson                   (From the collection of Vivian Norby

					Notation list date as 1957

	Funeral services for Deur Erickson were held at the Wee Kirk of the 
Heather at 1:30 Thursday, August 29 in Hollywood, Calif.  Burial was in Forest 
Lawn cemetery.
	Mr. Erickson was born on a farm in Ida county, the son of John and 
Anna Erickson.  As a small boy they moved to Odebolt where he attended 
school.  He was united in marriage in 1909 and lived at Soldier until 1924.
	He was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church and Pastor Myrus L. 
Knutson had charge of services.
	He was preceded in death by two sisters.  Surviving are four 
children:  Don of San Gabriel, Calif., Elaine (Mrs. Lawrence Eahlberg) of 
Encino, Calif., and Lorraine (Mrs. Gustaf Noyd) of Odebolt, one brother, 
Edward in California; five grandchildren.
	Mrs. Erickson will come to Odebolt this week for a visit with her 
daughter.
