Thomas C. Martens
BATTLE CREEK, Iowa - Thomas C. Martens, 90, of Conway, Ark., formerly of 
Battle Creek, died Monday, Sept. 8, 1997, at Conway Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Martens was born Aug. 1, 1907, in Battle Creek, the son of Martin and Lucy 
(Peterson) Martens. 

Survivors include seven sons; two daughters; 31 grandchildren; 30 great-
grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, June Vera; seven brothers; two sisters; 
and five grandchildren.
