May 9th 1907 Will Probate Notice To All Whom It May Concern: Notice is hereby given, that on the 3rd day of May 1907, there was produced, read and filed, in the office of the Clerk of the District Court of the State of Iowa, in and for Iowa County, a paper purporting to be the last Will and testament of John Moser, Sr. deceased, late of Amana in said county, and that the 10th day of June 1907 being of and during the June term A. D. 1907, of said Court, has been fixed for hearing the evidence in support of said Will, and making orders as to its probate and allowance. WITNESS my official signature hereto on this 3rd day of May A. D. 1907. JOHN E. SPURRIER Clerk of said Court DOWER & MURPHY, Attorneys Last Will And Testament of John Moser IN THE NAME OF GOD, AMEN: I, John Moser sen, residing at Amana Iowa County, Iowa, being of sound memory and mind, hereby make, publish and declare my last will and testament, in manner followig, that is to say: FIRST: Of my credit on the books of the Amana Society, I give and bequeath one half to Johanne Murback and Margaretha Murback, daughters of my daughter Henrietta Murbach, nee Moser, deceased, in equal shares. SECOND: One fourth of my said credit I give and bequeath to my son John Moser, THIRD: One fourth of my said credit I give and bequeath to the children of my above named son John Moser, and shall be distributed among the in equal shares. The division of my household chattles has already been settled and require no further disposition. And I hereby appoint A. Noe at Amana, Iowa, as executor of this my last will and testament and no bonds shall be required from him. I have hereunto set my hand and seal on the fourth day of the month of October in the year of Our Lord Nineteen Hundred and Four. Signd John Moser, Sen. The above and foregoing instrument consisting of one page and seven lines was on the day thereof signed by John Moser Sen. the testator in our presence and declared to be his last Will and Testament and we at his request, in his presence and in the presence of each other hereby subscribe the same as attesting witnesses thereto dated this 4th day of Oct A. D. 1904. John A. Noe State of Iowa, Iowa County, ss: I, John A. Noe do solemnly affirm that the above and foregoing is a true, correct and complete translation from the original in the german language of the last will and testament of John Moser sen. late of said county, dec'd hereunto annexed that the same has been carefully compared with the said original will and that I translated the same, and know it to be in all respects a true and correct translation. John A. Noe STATE OF IOWA, IOWA COUNTY, ss I John E. Spurrier, Clerk of the District Court in and for said County, do hereby certify that on this day, at the June term, A. D. 1907 of said court, the Will and Testament in writing herewith annexed, and bearing date on the 4th day of October 1904, was duly proved before and allowed by said Court as and for the last Will and Testament of the real and personal estate of John Moser sen., late of said county deceased, and was by said court ordered to be recorded as such Will and Testament.
