T. Bauman- The name of D. T. Bauman, candidate for county attorney on the democratic ticket was in some unaccountable manner omitted from the list in our writeup last week. It was not intentional as Mr. Bauman has our sincere and hearty support, he being a democrat at all times and under all circumstances. Mr. Bauman has the interests of the party at heart, and has always labored to that end. He has been twice elected city solicitor of Maquoketa, which shows his standings and qualifications. He has filled the office with honors to himself and constituents, and will do the same when elected to the office of county attorney. Mr. Bauman has won his laurels at the bar by persistent study and close attention to business. He does not lack in ability, courage nor force of character in the discharge of his duties as an attorney or official, and applies himself closely to the work at hand. No better man could be selected for the place and we confidently believe that the people will so express themselves at the polls.
