This week they are celebrating their golden wedding anniversary with a second honeymoon in Chicago. They are guests at the same hotel, the Palmer House, dining at some of the still existing restaurants, and enjoying some shows. Their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. R. P. Duer of Kenosha, Wisconsin, met Mr. and Mrs. Goodenow in Chicago Wednesday to offer their congratulations and join in the anniversary observance. Mr. and Mrs. Goodenow have one son, Attorney John E. Goodenow, Jr. of Maquoketa. There are two grandchildren, Marla and Jack Goodenow.
