Rev. Alois Tritz 

Rev. Alois Tritz read his first mass at St. Donatus, Monday, December 23, 
1901. Following the ceremony at the church a dinner was given at the home of 
his mother east of town where Rev. Tritz was born and reared, a number of 
priests, relatives, and many friends being present and partaking of the spread 
of good things, which was of an elaborate order. Rev. Tritz is an exemplary 
young man and will make a priest of high standing. Paul Kempter and mother of 
Bellevue, attended the ordination of Rev. Tritz at St. Donatus.
