Mrs. Winegar, daughter of Rodney and Martha Gibson, was born on a farm a few miles north of Baldwin on Oct. 11, 1854. She has one surviving brother, George Gibson of Arkansas. Soon after the close of the Civil War she was married to William Winegar on Sept. 1, 1872, at Baldwin by the Rev. Winsett. Mr. Winegar served during the duration of the war and the new home was made in the vicinity of Baldwin. To Mr. and Mrs. Winegar were born three daughters and one son. Mrs. Maud Kelton, who makes her home with her mother; Mrs. Mattie, who is deceased; Mrs. Elsie Hedager of Lost Nation and Wallace Winegar of Clinton and four grandchildren. Friends enjoyed a birthday supper with her and Marguerite Scott baked her a birthday cake. All join in wishing many more birthday anniversaries.
