FIRST WOMAN MAYOR INSTALLED

Takes Oath of Office Along With New Council On Saturday At Noon

Bellevue’s new mayor and first woman executive, Mrs. Ella B. Zentner and new 
council members were sworn into office last Saturday at noon in impressive 
ceremonies. During the afternoon Mayor Zehntner was a gracious hostess to 
interested friends and well-wishers at her home.
The adjourned organization meeting of the Town Council was held at the City 
Hall, January 2nd with Mayor Zentner and Councilmen Art Achen, Robert Dyas, 
John Dye, Richard Keil and Ben Roling present.
Compensation of the Mayor and Council was set at $2.00 per meeting with the 
Mayor to receive court fees in addition to the $2.00 compensation.
