Bellevue Leader, October 4, 1876

Rev. Norton New M. E. Church Pastor 

Rev. R. Norton, the new pastor of the M. E. Church of Bellevue, preached his 
first sermon in Bellevue, last Sunday. The Rev. gentleman made many friends, 
and good impressions among the people here by the sermon he preached on this 
occasion.
